Every product which we see at the shops has a standard respectively. So we can buy them without anxiety, can’t we? For example, if your car has tires which are non-standard, and if each of them is different, you will be in a trouble, won’t you?
It can’t be different depending on each person. For example, because one likes wobbly driving is it ok to have tires which have an uneven surface? I don’t think so. They all require the standard respectively.
As for any product which is produced at factories, no matter how many they produce, the quality etc of those products is always even. This is because there is quality management at each factory. So it’s said that it comes from all the hard work of each company. Those products these days are really well established. Aren’t they great? However, it is only applicable for the factory products, but not for the human beings or nature.
Assume that we force humans into standards (deviation, standard and average value and so on). Don’t you think that if everyone is the same, it’s weird…?
When looking around, you see the same face and body….You can find someone who looks exactly like you everywhere. It looks like you are looking at a mirror all the time. Because a practical use for the cloning technology has come true (?), such a thing could happen in the future. Whichever it is, if all the faces and abilities are the same, what would be the fun in this world?
Imagine that one day you asked your child. Which part of your body is important…? Well, it’s my heart. Why? Because if my heart stops, I’ll die. All right, you don’t care about other organs, do you? Is it ok that as the heart is popular, every cell wants to become it? What will happen? What can be ears or eyes?...
In case of baseball, one says I want to be a pitcher. So then others say that they want to be a pitcher, too. Everyone wants to be the pitcher, so there is no catcher. We can’t play baseball game like that, can we? Supposing that everyone wants to be the same, it’s similar to those standard products…So if it’s not the standard product, it means that it must be a “failure or misfit”. But, those people who are considered as being non-standard are the ones who actually have potentialities.
Nature is non-standard, too. People have been learning so many things from nature…
When we get rid of such a thought of being non-standard, we will be able to see something that we haven’t seen before…Yes, because there are different ideas from different people, it is fun in this world, isn’t it?
